The twin-shaft lime kiln production line is a commonly used industrial apparatus primarily employed for lime calcination, characterised by high efficiency, energy conservation, and a high degree of automation. The following details pertain to the twin-shaft kiln lime production line:
I. Overview of the Twin-shaft Lime Kiln Production Line
This lime production equipment employs an alternating calcination process across two chambers. Continuous operation is achieved through the sequential loading, combustion, and unloading across both kiln chambers. Its core attributes include strong fuel adaptability and high thermal energy utilisation, making it suitable for sectors such as steel, chemicals, and environmental protection.
II. Working Principle:
Calcination commences in Kiln Chamber A. Combustion air enters via the chamber's top and flows downward under pressure differential. Within the preheating zone, this air is heated by the hot limestone. Upon reaching the calcination zone, it mixes with fuel delivered via burners for combustion. The resulting high temperatures decompose the limestone, with the generated lime entering the cooling zone. Here, cooling air from the kiln base reduces the lime temperature to 60–80°C before discharge via a disc discharge machine into the lower hopper. The flue gas produced by the combustion of air and fuel descends through a connecting channel in the centre of the kiln chamber into Kiln Chamber B. Within Kiln Chamber B, the flue gas rises from bottom to top, passing through the calcining zone before reaching the preheating zone. In the preheating zone, the flue gas contacts the limestone for heat exchange, transferring residual heat to the limestone while its own temperature drops to approximately 150°C before being discharged from the kiln top. Having absorbed the flue gas's residual heat, the limestone's temperature rises, storing this heat to preheat the combustion air supplied from the kiln top in the next cycle.
III. Characteristics of the Twin-shaft Lime Kiln Production Line:
1. High Efficiency and Energy Conservation: Achieves efficient thermal utilisation through heat exchange between circulating gases and high-temperature flue gases, with strong fuel adaptability.
2. High Degree of Automation: Employs PLC and DCS control systems to realise automated production process control.
3. Excellent Environmental Performance: Complies with environmental regulations, reducing pollutant emissions.
4. Reactivity:>320ml
